With a flair for disillusionment and a cute, yet slightly sinister anthropomorphism, Scott Radke’s new Sculptures are certainly eye catching. Presented in a perfect woodland setting, Radkes new work is draws on legends of mythical creatures for its inspiration, stacking his creations like fantasy totem poles.
At first glance the creatures can seem appealing and cute but look more closely and and you start to feel a sinister presence lurking behind the facade. Based in Cleveland, USA, all of Radke’s work is very heavily nature based, drawing on an animal human hybrid theme.
Radke has produced some fantastic pieces in this series and the Digital Yak is a huge fan.
